IKTINOS HELLAS Charts a Course for Sustainable Growth Amid Global Challenges

Despite one of the most demanding periods the global natural stone industry has faced in recent years, IKTINOS HELLAS S.A. continues to demonstrate resilience, strategic vision and confidence in the future.

During its 2026 Annual General Meeting, shareholders approved the company’s financial statements, elected a new Board of Directors for the next five-year term and endorsed a series of governance decisions that reinforce transparency and long-term corporate stability.

While 2025 was marked by slowing construction activity in China, rising energy costs, high interest rates and geopolitical uncertainty, IKTINOS maintained a turnover exceeding €30 million and preserved its strong international footprint, exporting premium Greek marble to more than 90 countries worldwide. Entering 2026, the company recorded an encouraging increase in first-quarter sales and improved profitability through a renewed commercial strategy and targeted pricing initiatives.

Although geopolitical developments in the Middle East temporarily affected export activity across the marble sector, IKTINOS views these conditions as external and short-term challenges rather than structural weaknesses. Backed by more than five decades of expertise, the company remains committed to strengthening its production capacity, investing in its quarries and expanding its global presence.

At the same time, discussions with the banking sector regarding financing restructuring are progressing positively, while the strategic development of the company’s landmark tourism property in Sitia, Crete, continues to advance through its collaboration with Auberge Resorts Collection and the selection of an internationally renowned architectural firm.

With a renewed governance structure, a clear investment roadmap and a long-term growth strategy, IKTINOS HELLAS reaffirms its commitment to creating sustainable value for shareholders, partners and customers worldwide while continuing to showcase the excellence of Greek marble on the international stage.
